Frequently asked questions
- Does the free plan expire? Do I need a card?
- It does not expire and needs no card. The free plan keeps working indefinitely: the daily signal checklist, the trade journal with attribution, and all three markets (HK, US, CN) are included, with a 50-ticker watchlist.
- Does the 14-day trial need a card? Will it auto-charge?
- No card is required and nothing is charged automatically. When the trial ends the account simply returns to the free plan; continuing on Pro is a separate, deliberate step.
- How do I cancel?
- Open the billing portal from Settings → Subscription and cancel there yourself — no email needed. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and it does not renew.
- What happens to my data if I downgrade?
- Everything stays. Strategies, journal entries, watchlist rows and signal history are never deleted. Anything above the free caps is kept but cannot be added to — you decide what to remove, the app never removes it for you.
- Monthly or annual — any difference?
- The features are identical; only the billing period differs. Annual ($60) pays for twelve months up front and works out cheaper than paying monthly.
- Why is backtesting Pro-only?
- A backtest replays your rules over years of daily bars for up to 500 tickers at once — by far the heaviest computation in the product. The everyday features (daily signals, journal, attribution) stay free.
- What currency am I charged in?
- Prices are in US dollars and checkout runs through Stripe. If your card is in another currency, your bank applies its own exchange rate and fees.
